We believe that a well-informed populace makes better decisions — personally and politically. Our goal is to provide information on public safety related issues impacting our state — including the who, what, why, when and how.

With knowledge comes the responsibility to act on it — to present the pros and cons on important policy issues, make recommendations that will benefit the public’s safety, speak up for the vulnerable, and hold leaders accountable for leading.

We view these actions as crucial to the organization and strive to engage individual Californians in the process as well.

We adhere to the wisdom of Benjamin Franklin, who said, “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.” We undertake to provide education and resources to Californians so they can effectively engage in public policy debates at whatever level they occur.
